Dr. Wanda O'Bryant is the Psychology Treatment Programs Coordinator (PTPC) for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) North Central Region. Dr. O'Bryant directs and oversees the clinical activities in relation to the Drug Abuse Treatment Programs provided to BOP inmates, including clinical diagnosis, technical assist visits as well as clinical peer reviews and is responsible for the provision of highly-skilled mental health and drug abuse treatment protocols. Dr. O'Bryant also analyzes information and provides recommendations in regards to the establishment or modification of local treatment program objectives. She is experienced with Cognitive Behavioral Treatment and the utilization of skill building, goal setting behavior management principles. Dr. O'Bryant provides assistance to the field as it relates to the theories, principles, practices and techniques of psychology and addiction treatment.
Dr. O'Bryant earned a master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Interamerican University San Juan, Puerto Rico (2001) and a medical doctorate at Ponce School Of Medicine Ponce, Puerto Rico (2004).
