Sheri Catania is a graduate of the KU School of Law, where she has taught trial advocacy for over 25 years. She served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Johnson County Kansas District Attorney's office for nine years, specializing in crimes against children and sexual abuse prosecutions. In 2002, she joined the United States Attorney's office in the District of Kansas. Ms. Catania is an Assistant United States Attorney who serves as the Lead Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force Attorney, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Coordinator and the District of Kansas Opioid Coordinator. AUSA Catania's case load primarily is focused on complex drug conspiracies and controlled substance distributions resulting in death. AUSA Catania also instructs at various federal, state and local law enforcement academies and at the National Advocacy Center.
